The best way to describe our experience is that it was like a magical dream that happened in Nandgaon, Lohardaga.

The earthen house felt like an extension of our bodies. The mornings were incredible: waking up to nature in a space created with exquisite rustic art and eco sensitive thought.

It always felt as the landscape was inside the house merging both the outside and the inside, making nature the cosiest home.

The food was delicious, different local delicacies in every meal, all organic and fresh. But also surprising dishes like a yummy burger. And so many things to do, a garden of possibilities; going for a walk to the sunset into the river, strolling into the forest across, taking the jeep to explore the tribal villages with amazing forested areas where we did collaborative painting projects, archaeological sites to discover and at night after an exciting day, nothing like a campfire dinner gazing at the stars.

Truly a treasure for a traveller who wants to experience the unspoiled beauty of the heartland of India.
